Ghana’s First-Ever Customer Experience Excellence Awards Is Here

Something big just happened in Ghana’s customer experience space. On Tuesday 5th August, at a vibrant press event in Accra, Customer Experience Professionals Association Ghana (CXP Ghana) officially launched the Ghana Customer Experience Excellence (CXX) Awards – the first awards in the country dedicated solely to customer experience trailblazers.

That’s right – the professionals behind the moments that make customers feel heard, respected, and valued are finally getting the spotlight they deserve.

“This is more than an awards scheme. It’s a statement – that Ghana is ready to celebrate the people moving customer experience forward with passion, innovation, and impact.”
– Esther Dokuwaa Ofosuhene, President, CXP Ghana

🏆 What Are the CXX Awards?

Organized in collaboration with KPMG Ghana, the CXX Awards recognize individuals (not companies) across sectors who are raising the bar in CX – whether that’s through leadership, empathy, innovation, or results that truly make a difference.

The awards will cover five powerful categories:

  • CX Practitioner of the Year (across industries like banking, telecoms, insurance, health, hospitality, and public service)
  • Contact Center Leader of the Year
  • CX Rising Star of the Year
  • Lifetime Achievement Award (15+ years of contribution to CX in Ghana)

🙌 Why It Matters

Ghana’s business and public sectors are rapidly evolving – and customer expectations are evolving even faster. Yet until now, there’s been no national platform to recognize the people doing the real work: transforming complaints into insights, data into empathy, and frontline teams into CX champions.

“We believe this recognition will inspire more organisations to embed CX deeply into how they operate – and more professionals to lead with heart and strategy.”
– Margaret Takyi-Micah, Chair, CXP Ghana Advisory Council

💬 What Went Down at the Launch

The launch event brought together CX leaders, journalists, partners, and a community excited about the future. There were bold remarks, powerful stories, and real anticipation for what this new platform could unlock.

“This is a critical step toward elevating CX in Ghana – and setting a higher bar for excellence that can be measured, celebrated, and shared.”
– Jonathan Lutterodt, KPMG Ghana

🚨 Nominations Are Open Soon

Nominate yourself or a colleague at www.cxpghana.com from Friday, 8th August, 2025.

A Milestone for the CX Movement

From a small community of committed professionals to a national voice for CX transformation – CXP Ghana has grown. And this awards program is one more way we’re putting a spotlight on what matters: people who care deeply about the customer journey.

Let’s celebrate them. Let’s learn from them. Let’s build better experiences – together.
